Services provided by LDK included:
- the elaboration of the methodology for the analysis of the reports submitted by Member States on the implementation of Directive 96/61/EC for the period 2003/2005;
- the analysis of the submitted data of the Member State reports on implementation and emission limit values (ELVs);
- the development of databases, web-based queries, and analytical tools for the analysis of the reports.
Description
The project referred to the analysis of the reports submitted by Member States on the implementation of Directive 96/61/EC (IPPC) for the period 2003/2005. The main objectives of the project were:
- to analyse as a follow-up of previous analysis, the reports submitted by Member States on the implementation of the IPPC Directive for the period 2003-2005, and provide summary fact sheets for each Member State;
- to analyse the information submitted in the reports on representative limit values and assess the information, in view of providing an input to the review of the BREFs on cement and lime, and on iron and steel sectors (techniques used, achieved performance, monitoring procedures, etc.);
- to develop a database presenting information on a web-based query and analysis tools basis. This system is available on the EC server, to be integrated in the future in SEIS (Shared Environmental Information System).
