Description

The main objective of this project was to assist the EC Delegation in Slovenia to revise the tender dossiers for the following four investment projects:
1. Construction of WWTP and Sewage System Kanal (total budget: 1,020,438 euros);
2. Ecological rehabilitation of the Idrijca river (total budget: 1,459,026 euros);
3. Construction of WWTP and corresponding Sewage System (total budget: 696,491 euros);
4. The waste water treatment plant and the Volce Sewerage system (total budget: 1,055,458 euros).
The role of the consultant was to ensure that the following objectives were achieved:
- the tender documentations are complete and comply with FIDIC Conditions of Contract and PHARE public procurement rules;
- the equipment to be procured comply with the Aquis Communautaire requirements and standards;
- the technical specifications and solutions are reasonable, clear and consistent, and ensure that the tenderers can effectively bill the supplies;
- the bill of quantities and drawings are clear and consistent;
- the estimation of costs for works and supplies are reasonable.
During the opening and evaluation sessions the consultant was the observer for the eight works tenders.
