Description

The project is about a Logistics Center covering an area of 50,000 m2 which serves a chain of 175 supermarkets. The Logistics Center is located in Popesti-Leordeni, at Ilfov area in Romania. It consists of a ground level warehouse area of 38,200 m2, auxiliary areas and office area in an entresol of 5,300 m2.

The level of complexity of this project was very high since the variety of the goods that such a warehouse can store increases the specifications complexity and also every part of the design must be in accordance to strict standards for the good operation.

The scope of work included the provision of consulting services for Project Management and the provision of consultants for the implementation of the project. Participation in coordination meetings and preparation of relevant input was also included in the works. In addition, preparation of reports to be submitted regularly to the Owner was included.

The contract and the project were implemented under FIDIC conditions.
