- Study and promotion activities of joint ventures on mini-hydro technologies
Description
The project aims at raising the awareness of EU technology manufacturers and investors on the important market potential existing in China and to encourage the establishment of EU-China joint-ventures for the implementation of concrete projects in selected sites. The project comprises the following activities:
- Assessment of the institutional and the legal framework which allow the award of concessions to install small hydro plants and the establishment of contracts between the utility company and the joint ventures
- Identification and selection of priority sites to be given as concession to the potential joint ventures, according to integrated resource development guidelines and economic profitability
- Support the creation of joint ventures through the identification and selection of Chinese and EU manufacturers and investors
- Support for setting up project investment by establishing contacts between the European financial institutions, the investors and the promoters.
- Organisation of a business mission and a one day workshop with the aim of establishing the formal relations for joint ventures between the EU and Chinese partners
- Assessment of the action impact and valorisation of the results.
