Services provided by LDK include:
- Indicative costs of Green City actions to support prioritisation of actions;
- Economic appraisal (cost/benefit analysis or similar) of prioritised actions;
- Review of financing potential for actions, including funding sources such as IFIs, national government, municipal funds, international climate funds, private sector partnership potential; and
- Phasing of costed actions within the GCAP investment plan
Description
The aim of the project is to support the city of Skopje to develop a Green City Action Plan (GCAP), applying the methodology that has been defined in detail and piloted by EBRD. The project will support the city to take ownership of the GCAP and during the development process of the plan to build the necessary capacity to successfully implement it by:
- Assisting the city to become familiar with the GCAP methodology and to establish the necessary leadership team for applying the methodology
- Supporting the city to identify the key stakeholders for the assignment, including main contact points of each entity, responsible for contributing to the development of the GCAP
- Supporting the city in their stakeholder engagement
- Assisting the city to conduct broad stakeholder consultations (including both bilateral meetings and consultation group meetings, depending on the need) during the different steps in the GCAP.
