Framework Contract for Organisation of conferences and meetings for Frontex, various Countries

Type of Services

Organisation of operational  briefing in Algeciras, Spain on 28-29 July 2015, budget: 8,601.60 €

Under this Framework Contract, LDK has provided some or all of the services listed below:

  • booking of conference facilities
  • rental of technical equipment and technical support staff
  • provision of catering services at the venue as well as at the local restaurants
  • provision of interpretation services (simultaneous) and equipment,
  • provisional reservation of hotel accommodation for the Frontex participants and booking the hotel accommodation for the designated Frontex participants  
  • local transport arrangements

Prior to contracting of service providers for the above services, LDK was running, on behalf of Fontex, a price competition with a minimum of  1, 3 or 5 offers according to the thresholds of the service cost.

Description

LDK was selected by Frontex, the European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the external Boarders of the Member States of the European Union, as a single contractor to provide services related to the orgasnisation of planned meetings/events under Framework Contract FRONTEX/OP/351/2010 with 4-year duration. The geographic coverage of activities included the EU and neighbourhood countries.

For each concrete project requested by Frontex under this Framework Contract a Purchase Order was signed.  
In 4 years a total of 156 Purchase Orders were signed and implemented for the following projects:

  • Catering for Operational Briefing in Algeciras, Spain  for 70 people 20-21 July 2011, budget: 5.376 €
  • Organisation for the Reference manual II Workshop in Dublin, Ireland on 19-22 September 2011 for 22 participants, budget: 5.374,32 €
  • Coverage of costs for the conference in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 13-14 September 2011 for 18 persons, budget: 1.051,12 €
  • Coverage of costs for renting a hotel room in Alexandroupolis, Greece from 01/09 to 30/11/2011, budget:  5.096 €
