In the last decade, the company provides an integrated blend of technical and environmental services to address the resolution of complex environmental challenges. In particular, LDK Consultants has contributed in the maturity of major environmental infrastructure projects aiming to the depollution of the Mediterranean Sea in:
Jordan:
- Solid Waste Projects (feasibility studies for ISWM, National Strategy for Municipal Solid Waste, Regional SWM Plans for the North and Central Regions, assistance to EUD for the formulation of the SWM programme)
- Environmental Impact Assessment Studies funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB), World Bank (WB), AFD, European Union (EU) and implemented by local beneficiaries, Jordanian Development Bank (CVDB) and GiZ.
- The Feasibility Study for Industrial Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) has recently been awarded as part of a team, as well as support to Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), funded by EIB and European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

- Environmental Projects related to WWTP: Feasibility Study for the expansion of Al Ghadir WWTP in Beirut, 1,8 e.p.),
- Industrial Pollution Abatement and Clean Technology Projects for the industrial sector
- Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEAs) for the renewable energy sector
- Solid Waste Management and Transport Strategies (funded by EIB, EU, WB)
MENA countries:
LDK Consultants has been leading both the Sustainable Water Integrated Management Support Mechanism (SWIM SM 2011-2015) and its follow up SWIM and Horizon 2020 Support Mechanism (SWIM-H2020 SM 2016-2019) Projects (funded by the European Union), which aim to contribute to reduced marine pollution and a sustainable use of scarce water resources.
The Project is assisting the ministries of the beneficiary countries (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, [Syria] and Tunisia) in adopting and developing related environmental policies.
Greece, Cyprus, SE Balkans:
The company has continued to provide services for various IFIs, such as the Directorate General ENV (part of a number of framework contracts for the environment (FWC BENEF), the implementation of various Directives (Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive UWWTD, Marine Strategy Framework Directive MSFD) as well as numerous private clients in the energy, transport, solid waste and tourist industries.
