The scope of work included Preliminary Design, Design Development, Final Design, Technical Supervision of the following installations:
Water supply / Sewage / Storm Drainage / Fire Fighting / Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning / Lighting / Power / Electrical Substation / Telephones - Data / Sound Facilities / Lightning Protection & Earthing / Lifts / Special installations (Gas, Steam, sewage treatment, etc).
Description
Phase B: 5-star deluxe hotel of 170 beds on Mount Parnitha, Attica, Greece, along with SPA of 1,000 m2, Casino and Casino VIP halls of 6,000 m2, an exhibition hall and Conference halls.
Phase A: Two funicular rail stations and an underground parking area with a capacity of 1,000 vehicles.
The design had to take into consideration the phased construction allowing the Casino to keep operating all around the clock. Additionally, the guest room tower was declared a protected building and design had to adapt accordingly. Finally, the cable car system has double suspension cables in order to withdraw strong winds.
