Type of Services
Services provided by LDK include provision of technical assistance to reports and participation in workshops. In particular:
- report on international best practice support schemes for RES;
- guidelines and rules of selected RES support mechanism;
- training workshop on RES support schemes;
- training workshop on proposed guidelines and rules of support for RES in Bulgaria.
Description
The main objective of this project is to progress the development of Bulgaria's renewable energy sources (RES) market through the establishment of a secure and stable regulatory basis administered by an adequately skilled and organised regulatory body. Specific activities to be implemented include:
- development of RES support schemes to ensure compliance with RES targets;
- development of a system for issuing guarantees of origin from RES;
- improvement of tariff-setting for RES-based electricity and heat generation;
- training to SEWRC (Energy Regulator) staff in best practices in RES tariffs regulation and support schemes;
- improvement of SEWRC's internal organisation design on RES regulation;
- development of communications and public awareness strategy for task within the preview of SEWRC's authority.
