Services provided by LDK in the context of current project included:
- review of all relevant precedents, preparation of an outline of the proposed Regulations / Code and discussion with members of RAE;
- preparation of the first draft of the Regulations / Code, taking account of previous review and discussion;
- preparation of the final draft of the Regulations / Code, in full compliance with all relevant Greek legal requirements.
Description
This project referred to the provision of technical assistance and support to the Regulatory Authority of Energy (RAE) of Greece for the preparation of drafts on the General Authorisation documentation, the Supply Code for non-eligible customers, and the Public Power Corporation (PPC) Supply Authorisation Regulations. In particular, the project aimed to produce:
- a draft of a suitable Regulation covering the Authorisation for PPC energy generation activities. More specifically, the consultancy consisted of two main tasks;: the preparation of the draft of the necessary Regulation for this Authorisation; and the preparation of a draft of the Authorisation for PPC's generation facilities, including plant on the non inter-connected islands.
- a draft suitable Supply Code for non-eligible customers. This Code included: format of supply applications and standard contract terms; rules on disconnection for non payment; publication of details of services; methodology for connection charges; and customer penalties.
- a draft of the necessary Regulations covering the Authorisation for PPC's activities in supplying electricity to non-eligible customers, including all customers on the non interconnected islands.
