Services provided by LDK in the context of current project included:
- preparation of the legal documentation necessary for the establishment of the DESMIE in the form envisaged in the Electricity Law;
- design of the organisational structure of DESMIE including staffing requirements and job descriptions;
- detailed definition of the Market Operation Rules;
- preparation of all necessary technical documents, and in particular the System Operating Code, the Power Exchange Agreement, the Transmission Asset Leasing Agreement, the Ancillary Services and Other Relevant Agreements);
- verification of Transmission Pricing and Tariff Structure.
Description
This project referred to the provision of advice to the Greek Public Power Corporation (PPC) on the legal establishment of the Hellenic Transmission System Operator (DESMIE), its organisation, staffing and putting in operation of the legal entity, as well as on the definition of the Electricity Market Operational Rules and the preparation of the relevant Codes, according to the stipulations of the Greek Law 2773/22.12.99 establishing the deregulated Greek Electricity Market.
