Description
The project referred to energy saving interventions in two typical collective apartment block residences in the municipality of Tavros, in Athens, Greece. The interventions included:
- refurbishment of the building envelope, with the use of state-of-the-art insulation technologies;
- erection of solar spaces;
- passive solar heating and cooling systems;
- implementation of a 13 kWp photovoltaic installation for the illumination of the complex common spaces;
- solar / thermal systems for the centralised generation of domestic hot water system;
- solar air heaters.
