Type of Services

LDK is responsible for the implementation of the technical and economic studies, the preparation of tender dossiers and provision of technical support on procedures required for licencing of the project, in particular for:

  • The review of the previous studies and development of optimum investment plan including feasibility analysis. The latter comprises technical and economic evaluation of different technologies (biomass combustion/gasification) and on the use of different forms of biomass in the region for the generation of electricity and heat.
  • The preparation of documentation with regards to the connection terms by DEDDHE (Greek Distribution System Operator).
  • The issuance of decision for exemption from Environmental Terms Approval by the competent service.

The preparation of documentation and negotiations for the Grid Connection Agreement and Power Purchase Agreement with the Distribution System Operator.

 

Description

Feasibility study for the installation of a 0.5 MWe CHP plant utilizing biomass (primarily wood chips and olive oil residues), in the Municipality of Karyes/Lakonia Prefecture in Greece. The complex will also incorporate provision of heating to adjacent greenhouses.

Work will include assessment of cost optimal solution, feasibility study and assistance to the developer on acquiring the necessary permits.
