The scope of work of MEP installations includes Preliminary Design, Detailed Design, Permit Design and Tender Documents of the following installations:
Potable Water, Irrigation, Seawater Supply System, Waste Sea Water Discharge, Waste Water Sewage Network, Storm Drainage, Process Air Supply, Oxygen Supply, Fire Fighting, HVAC, Low Voltage (Power Supply, Lighting, Lightning), Extra Low Voltage (Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Public Address, Security Systems, Fire Detection and Alarm System, Television, Controls, BMS), Lifts
Description
The Dubai Center for Research and Development of Fisheries (DCRDF) was designed to accommodate three primary functions: fish production and broodstock holding; research on fish culture and conservation of wild stocks; and public visits and educational experiences.
The DCRDF consists of two zones: Public zone and Private zone. The Public zone includes Reception and Lobby, Administration offices, an exhibition area, an Amphitheatre and a coffee-restaurant area. The Private zone includes the Hatchery Complex Building (broodstock areas, larval and live food areas, weaning and nursery areas), the MEP Plantroom and Workshop building, the seawater pump station, the pumps and tanks building, the Quarantine building and the surrounding area.
Total built area of the development is 10.000 sq.m. on a plot area of 79.500 sq.m.
