LDK provides specialised engineering services for high-speed or suburban railways, focusing on particular fields of peak technology, facing issues such as electric traction, catenary design, traction power substations, electrical sectioning, automation, signalling, protection and electromagnetic compatibility.

Services have been exported beyond Greece's railway network in the last years, since LDK has been involved to the construction of the Plovdiv - Svilengrad high-speed railway line in Bulgaria, providing its specialisation and expertise for the elaboration of the electrification study of the line and supporting networks.
